The bar has two black plastic taps which hold several small glass marbles in its inside : when you insert a paper in the slot (anywhere in the bar), the marbles will hold it. Simple and intelligent. This way you don't have to worry about other papers falling, since each foil will be tightly held in place separately. Very convenient gor those people who work in bar or restaurants or pizzerias, and do not have time to waste. I strongly recommend this bar. I bought the 60cm. and I am fully satisfied.
