Description:

It has a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tube, when detecting direction meet with obstacles (reflecting surface), reflected infrared receiving by the tube.

After the comparator circuit processing, green indicator will light up, at the same time the signal output interface output a digital signal (a low level signal), can be adjust the detection distance through the potentiometer knob, effective distance range 2 ~ 80 cm, easy to assemble and use. So it can be widely used in robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance car, line count, and so on many occasions.

Every one of them works. It does what it suppose to do. Which is give 0/1 (True/False) when it detect object.
This isn't range finder. It will only response when there's an object in front of it at the set distance set screw on the unit.
It doesn't come with the wire as in the picture above.
