I just got into rc in the last month. This is my 4th car. First 2 were Wltoys 144001 and A979-B. 3rd was a VRX Racing brushed model as a project car. I'm not an expert, but I've spent hours researching and learning everything I can about rc. With my coupons I paid about $150 for this truck. IMO, you can't find a better rc for the price. The following are just my opinion.
The good:
1. Price
2. Feels well built
3. Looks cool
4. Very little if any wheel wobble
5. Handles good
6. Decent battery
7. All ball bearings
8. Aluminum chassis
The bad:
1. Front/Rear shocks are the same size, so its sits high in the front. (I ordered shorter front shocks, easy fix)
2. Steering servo seems a little weak for the big tires. (Can get a better servo for under $20 later)
3. You MUST CHECK the differentials. The differentials had no grease and they weren't shimmed correctly. I do this will all my cars before I run them and they are all usually like this. I don't know if the more expensive brands have this issue, but it seems like the cheaper cars do. I personally, enjoy doing it, so it's not a big deal for me.
4. Shipping took about 2 weeks. I'm impatient.
