This is a horizontal gasoline engine model, it is an ancient structure that uses water to cool.

1.Open the bottom plate to check the wiring of the engine , connect thefuel tank pipe , and install the three No 5 batteries to close the bottomplate
2.Fill the fuel tank with gasoline ( 95 ) . When the filling is completedmake sure there is no air in the oil pipe
3.On the right side of the engine ( installation of the flying hammerposition ) , slowly turn counterclockwise by hand to buy more than oneturn , its role can make the mixed gasoline fully enter the cylinder .
4.Turn on the power switch and turn the flywheel to start the enginecounterclockwise on the right side of the engine ( installing the flyinghammer position )
Precautions
1.If the ignition device is normal and the cylinder is under normalcompression , if the machine still does not start normally , it is very likelythat the carburetor needle should be adjusted

These are fine little engines and certainly worth their price. As I have purchased all of these gas/petrol engines I would say the silver colored units have been the best.(the blue engines had electrical faults..Hall switch)
To a newby purchaser please carefully check screws/bolts for tightness! Manually oil all wearing surfaces with a few drops of lube oil to a full tank of either Shellite/Colemans even 91 petrol. Good luck and enjoy. Jon.
