Design Principle:
For the Columbus Egg to operate, it must have two-phase AC power with a 90° phase difference. Therefore, we employed a single-phase induction motor approach, employing capacitor phase separation, where the capacitor voltage lags the current by 90°. This solved the Columbus Egg"s power supply problem.

The Columbus Egg is an egg-shaped copper block that spins about its long axis in a rotating magnetic field, eventually standing upright due to the gyroscopic effect.
