I am an old short-wave listener. My favorite boat anchors are my Racal RA17C12, my Collins R-392, my Hammarlund (2) HQ-150s, my Yeasu FRG-7, my National NC-140, my Kenwood R-5000 and various ham radios with general coverage. My 5 Eton E-1 XMs are in every room in my house. I love shortwave. So, when I say I am extremely. impressed with my new Banggood ATS25X1 feel free to believe me. My ATS with "touch control" was fantastic out of the box. No manual, but I did not need one. DXing is wonderful. Audio is crazy-good! ATS will eat any antenna I throw at it without overload. I am still trying to figure to where this radio fits into my shack, BUT I probably will buy another.
