I am being billed for one or two kWh of electricity every night, on a metered circuit where nothing is running.
But - is there an undiscovered current drain?
I chose this particular model for the job, because I prefer the dial function selector design. Also, I like the temperature measurement feature.
Everything promised (test leads, temperature sensor) arrived, neatly packed with the clamp meter in the zipped case.
There is also a little, folded English language instruction booklet.
Now I know about the kWh charges!
The clamp meter shows 0.85A on the primary circuit under normal use, but the doubtful circuit shows zero amps.
I really *am* being billed for electricity that I am not using...
The problem is, I do not want to have a smart meter replacement!
