This DIY dice using the small vibration motor to create the vibrating effect when you shaking the dice. Or you can also stand upside down it that you can feel the vibration motor is shaking. Seven LED will show the difference number with the vibrating. Stand still the dice about 10 seconds the LED will shows the breathing effect(Gradually changing the brightness). It's a easy and fun DIY project,all using DIP components to build,suitable for beginners.

Function:
1, Turn on the switch button to turn on the power,and then shake or stand upside down the led dice, it will shows the random number as the motor is vibrating. 2, Stand still about 10 secends will enter the Standby mode,it will show the breathing led effect;

I must be doing something completely wrong building these units. 2 out of 15 that I built so far do not work currently.
They do turn on. The vibrating motor doesn’t vibrate. The number 5 is the only pattern provide by the LEDs.
I’m an expert soldering technicians, so ever solder joint is good. All the components are positioned in correctly. No solder shorts. The CR2032 batteries are new. The second one that I assembled, I placed the chip in a IC socket to find out where the problem could be. Thinking of taking the chips from the other kits and test them.
