So it can be widely used in robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance car, line count, and so on many occasions.
Good value and reliable IR based proximity detector. Worth stating that the detection area is very narrow +/-5 degrees and maximum range is 30cm. Potentiometer requires very careful adjustment to achieve 30 cm range and thus a more reliable figure is 15-20cm.
