This can automatically switch between two power sources, switching to a secondary source if the primary source fails. It can handle supplies of 5V to 48V at up to 10A and both sources must match the output voltage.. Typically, the secondary is a battery and 10A diode lets the primary charge the secondary if needed. Note that this is not really suitable for a UPS because of the lack of a charge control circuit and the inherent delay (about 700ms) in the relay switching.
