It has a good quality, stable and good grip. Part of the black frame is made of aluminum, the rest is made of plastic.

my 18v Makita DRT50 fits beautifully into this holder. The holder is plastic and probably won't hold up to abuse. but if you are a hobbyist and careful, it should be fine.

Do note that there is no rack and pinion adjustment on this guide. simply set the depth and lightly screw tight.

I haven't put it through its paces yet, but so far, so good 👍
