The kit of the P-38 is well thought out and easy to assemble. The instructions have clear construction stage photos. Adding a carbon spar to the horizontal stabiliser makes sense. With 2 motors Racerstar BR 2208-1400kV and 3-blade 7x4 propellers at approx. 14A each a good speed and vertical climbing is guaranteed. With a 3s 1800 battery, 15min flight time can be achieved with mixed flight. The take-off weight including battery in this configuration is 760g. The center of gravity at 80mm is the rearmost possible position. The model then only has a light interception bow. The model has a nice and calm flight picture. An absolute recommendation for the price!

I bought the kit for 49 € on black friday ! Couldn't let it go... Then it was quite a job to put it together. I use the fuse to put the battery in; the booms for the escs. Such construction needs a lot of wiring, to be constructed mesured to the plane. I had to cut room for that in the wing and make holes in the fuse. The cockpit has to be filled with foam (cut to shape) for it 's just a flimsy plastic thing, though it needs to be the lid of the fuse with the battery. Secure it with a rubber band. Put machine guns in the nose; makes it a lot more like it.
After putting the plane together I camouflaged all the holes and outcuts with invasion stripes from duct tape; put on black window glazing and decorated everything with some nice decals. No wheels. Flies on a 2200 mAh 3s lipo which balances the plane perfectly. Very beautiful plane for the price but merely for experienced constructors only.
