Nice solid connector, materials feel good and seem well made. The anti-spark function is achieved by having 5.6k resistor that engages first and limits the initial inrush current.The value checks out (note that the leads themselves have 1.45 Ohm resistance).

It's a nice solution to the problem at one of the best prices I've seen anywhere.
